Charity work

For the past 25 years Christine has been actively involved in promotion and fundraising for various Charities supporting children’s needs around the world.

During the past 5 years proceeds from the sale of her artwork’s have enabled many wheelchairs to be sent to children in third world countries via ’Wheelchairs for Kids’ a non-profit organization staffed by volunteers based in Perth Western Australia. www.wheelchairsforkids.org

She is currently the Australian Chairperson of the non-profit world wide organization The WINS Foundation whose primary aim is to provide education and support for the children of Indonesia. Christine currently travels constantly between The Netherlands, Australia and Indonesia visiting Bali every two months with her husband Gill Rijnenberg. (the founder of WINS) where new shelter homes, education programs and care facilities are continually being developed and implemented.
